Arab dance
Beauty is undeniable. The elegance – impressive. His femininity – compelling. Arab dance is so magical, delicate, deep and memorable as may be just magic, emerged from Sheherezade tales. When you touch the real-Arabic dance (not to disseminated on the Balkans kyuchek) you remain amazed by the ease with which women perform the dance so impressive and difficult movements. “Little is much”, say Arabs, and this applies in full to dance. Movements are small, cleaned, elegant, performed without overacting and unnecessary tension.
Femininity is leading. The woman who enjoys life, gives without fear and is ready to receive without unnecessary modesty. The woman with a head “W”, woman-mother, sister, girlfriend, wife. She is the foundation of life. She is the one that has received the gift to grant life. This is exactly the basis of the dance. Symbolism is very deep and the roots are ancient.
There are many schools worldwide developing Arab dance and presenting it to the big stage. There are numerous styles, borrowing from other Eastern dances, accessories to be used for its implementation.
Benefit to the body and psyche is not just big but essential. Besides the purely physical aspect, which excited everybody very important to me is psychological aspect. On physical level arab dance forms beautiful and feminine body (not talking to lose kilograms, but for forming the fine feminine body), but as a method to eliminate cellulite, its usefulness is undoubted. Positively influence some gynecological problems, helps to prevent diseases of the lacteal gland and spinal curvature. No freight joints, not overburden the muscle, not overtaxes heart. Acting relaxing to the whole body and charges with positive energy. Draw correct, feminine body posture and gait. On the psychological level the arab dances can be used as a part of therapy to treat diseases like anorexia and bulimia, because one major benefit they give is confidence in themselves, the perception of our own body whatever it looks like. The Arab dances teach us how to like our own body and how to develop our feminine side.
Sure, there are many male styles in the Arab dances, folk dances performed by men, which are also very impressive and beautiful. Currently in school “Alima” is taught only female part of the Arab dance, but in future I hope to have the opportunity to immerse the male part of society into the magic of Arab dance, not only as a spectator. Of course, willing male to learn feminine part of the Arab dances are always welcome in our groups with joy.
